Student Life

Academics

Our curriculum is designed to build a foundation and give the students a depth of understanding while being mindful of our Christian values and beliefs. Curriculum standards are reviewed in an ongoing manner, to ensure that they are research-based and that the sequence adheres to a student’s learning capabilities.

Extra Curricular
Extra Curricular

Students are able to participate in a variety of activities and organizations to help further develop them as individuals.  American Heritage Girls, Chess Club and Skit & Drama Club are a few of the activities offered.

Serve
Serve

Serving others in name of Jesus allows us to give thanks to God and share the love of Jesus. We intentionally seek to provide serve opportunities for our students and their families, both on our campus and in the community. Choirs and bands participate in several worship services and students are encouraged to provide weekly Chapel Offerings to benefit ministry partners. Classroom level serve projects include making cards for the home-bound, tying blankets for shelters, raking yards, and more.

Special Education instruction is available for students who qualify, and based on caseload availability, through Lutheran Special Education Ministries (LSEM). LSEM faculty provide both direct instruction and support services as well as serve as teacher consultants, student evaluators and in-service presenters.

It's all about Jesus!

Jesus permeates our day! We lean into the mercy and grace of Jesus, with morning prayer, lunchtime prayer, chapel prayers, and prayers in class. Grade level religion class is held four times each week to read God's word, the Bible, with weekly chapel for the whole school. Students learn of God's unending love!
